Shaking and Baking!

Just this week on Monday QCCC held a fundraising bake-sale in MacCorry by receiving donations in exchange for baked goodies!

There were muffins, 

 ,

among others!

They were yummy in our tumblies!

Q and A with Father Ray!

Last Friday we gathered in the great labyrinth of doom, MacCorry for a fabulous Question and Answer session with our just as fab chaplain: Fr. Raymond de Souza!

We learned lots and lots.

And afterwards there was a partay at Newman House.

There was dancing and beats.

Wine Up The Water

Second cell of the year involved wine and visiting peeps from LCCC.

We talked about historical and cultural context when examining the Gospel message in the First Miracle which took place at the Marriage at Cana (John 2 : 1-11)

And we played broken telephone pictionary!

It was so kewl. 

Bringing in the New Year with Baptism

We started off the first cell of the year fresh.

Baptism fresh.

And the activity of reverse charades was pretty cool and involved "Holy Minerals"(inside joke) aka Incense.

We had a great discussion with the YOUCAT and learned a bunch of new praise and worship songs.
